Sarah Stephens

Sarah Stephens joined Kite in 2025 as Executive Director of Public Affairs.

Sarah brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare communications, with deep expertise in strategic storytelling, patient advocacy, stakeholder engagement and navigating complex clinical and policy landscapes. Before joining Kite, Sarah was Senior Director of Communications at Spark Therapeutics, where she led integrated communications across research, development, product strategy and commercial, supporting the advancement of gene therapies through key clinical and business milestones. Earlier in her career, she held roles of increasing responsibility at AstraZeneca and Jazz Pharmaceuticals, where she gained both U.S. and global experience. Throughout her in-house and agency experience, Sarah has led brand strategy and corporate affairs initiatives across immunology, oncology, neuroscience and rare disease.

Sarah received her bachelor’s degree in mass communications and political science from the University of South Carolina.
